Let’s Talk Business: Get more business – go online

Let talk business

For increasing numbers of people these days, the web is the first place they look when they want to research a purchase and/or buy an item.

So it’s surprising then that so many SMEs don’t have a presence online. Ignoring this burgeoning segment of the retail market means an SME is risking missing out on a great many sales that will, naturally, go to those competitors who have moved into the online space.

If you’re wanting to take the plunge into retailing on the web but aren’t sure how to go about it, then the next Let’s Talk Business event on 26 June 2012 will be perfect for you. At this event I will be moderating a panel featuring the following dynamic experts who will discuss how easy it is to have an online presence, how to create a seamless online presence for your customers, and how to use your existing database in your new venture:

Ruslan Kogan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, of online retailer, Kogan, which bills itself as the “premier discount online store for all your technology needs”.

Terry Deane, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Oobi, which sells clothing and accessories for babies and children online.

Eddie Machaalani, co-Founder and co-Chief Executive Officer of BigCommerce, which provides a ready made platform for would-be webpreneurs to set up their own stores online.

Michael Clunne, Chief Executive Officer, Muscle Beach, who retail a broad range of sports supplements via the web.
