‘The biggest Sydney Lunar Festival ever’

Thanks to everyone who came to the Sydney Lunar Festival in 2020. This incredible event is produced by the City of Sydney and celebrates the arts and culture associated with Lunar New Year.

This time-lapse video shows some of the spectacular Lunar Lanterns, an open-air public art exhibition that featured 12 sculptures lining the foreshores of Sydney Harbour at Circular Quay.

The Sydney Morning Herald ran the headline Lunar new year celebrations to be ‘biggest this city has ever seen’. Thanks also to all the radio stations who covered the event including Richard Glover, ABC Radio, 2SM, Eastside Radio and more. Also to the TV media including Channel 7, ABC Weekend Breakfast and the Today Show. Also many local papers and other media.

I also appreciate everyone who kindly messaged me about The Rooster art installation I designed. And for all the photos!

Here’s a 30-second video explaining the concept behind The Rooster.
